New on U.S. shores, the 2013 Nissan NV200 is making
major waves. Thanks to its modern style and fuel economy, it has been
named the exclusive taxi for New York City. It is powered by a 2.0-liter
inline four cylinder engine. The engine drives the front wheels through
a continuously variable transmission. The
front bumper is standard in gray plastic to help hide the dings and
scrapes that inevitably come from using a commercial vehicle. The back
bumper can come in the same gray or painted to match the exterior body
color. The large bumpers also translate into high mounted headlights,
which is good for visibility. End-to end, the
2013 Nissan NV200 measures 186.2 inches. Dual sliding doors are
standard and the split rear doors open up to an incredible 180 degrees,
perfect for unloading. It has a more than efficient back cargo area,
capable of carrying a standard 40-by-48-inch pallet. Beyond hauling
pallets, the 2013 Nissan NV200's has standard mounting points for
shelves and optional floor-mounted hooks to secure cargo during transit.
Maximum payload capacity is around 1500 pounds.
The two passenger front cockpit is comfortable and has ample
features. The upgraded SV trim has cruise control, a second 12-volt
outlet in the center console, power door/locks, remote keyless entry,
and more. A navigation system can be added regardless of trim level.
Nissan knows that business needs move fast and the
new 2013 Nissan NV200 is a van built to give you the tools to keep up.
It offers commercial drivers a more efficient work vehicle with plenty
of interior cargo space. *EPA
